:: I'm Baacck! ::

Talk about being a bad blogger. I think it's been almost a year since I last posted something on here. well i've decided to keep this blog updated. I hadn't scrapped in a while and have slowly getting myself back into it. I have been trying to organize my life and include "me" time in it. eventhough lately it feels like "me" time is taking over b/c the house chores have been abandoned but need to keep myself on check. So i have been doing some digiscrapping just haven't uploaded it to a digi site. need to round up all the credits and then upload them. so i'll try to get to that soon, probably w/in the next week. Like i said my house chores have been put aside so now i gotta try to update that and then sit myself down and give these great designers their credit. Oh BTW i have a new blog. You might be thinking dang she doesn't keep this blog up and now she's created another one? well that is very true but the other blog is more personal. more of my daily life and this blog will stay mainly w/ digi stuff. And like i said i am hoping to keep this updated and have been doing alright in updating the other one. click here if you wanna check it out. :: Upgrading the HD ::

So this is going to be a quick post b/c I have lots of laundry to do.

Ok so we (my DH and children & I) went to Frys Electronics yesterday to look for a camera and also for an External HD. well the camera we want to get is the Canon Rebel XTI that is valued at $800 and that just comes w/ one lense. well my hubby wants the kit, which includes two lenses, the tripod, the bag, the batteries, the memory cards, the cables - basically the whole works. soooo yeah he doesn't want anything cheap. I'm thinking it's gonna cost at least $1300. and we dont' have that kind of money so we are gonna have to do some saving :P so the camera was not an option for yesterday. We did end up getting an external HD. the intention was to get the 1TB (1000 GB) but it was kinda expensive for our taste. it was gonna be about $350 so we ended up getting the 500gb one and actually since we want the 1TB total we are going back today to get the other 500gb. so it's gonna be way cheaper that way anyways. it's gonna cost a total of $250. so i think we did a good buy. So now i need to sort out everything and delete duplicates and do lots of organizing. ok well this is the post for today. chit chat w/ you later cause i have to get back to my wifely duties

:: Long time no hear and no see ::

I'm back!! Well sort of. I think i'm gonna be able to do a post at least once a week now. I work Saturdays now at the Front Desk at the Clubhouse, soo it's kinda slow here so I thought i'd take sometime to do a quick overview of what has happened in my very interesting life for that week. LOL!

Ok I'm actually gonna have to start w/ last weekend b/c that was pretty interesting (well mostly to all those who saw me hugging the porcelein goddess). So yeah I got drunk. And i think i handled the drinks pretty darn good for not drinking in 11 yrs and not having any food in my system. So I had 3 cups of Jose Cuervo - Tradicional w/ Squirt, some lemon, lots of ice and some salt on the rim of the cup. mmmm. my mouth is getting all watery again. It was soft but had the full effects of tequila. loved it. For some weird reason I felt like drinking that day. It was my nephews batism party but I worked that day and after picking up my inlaws i ended up arriving at 7pm to the party. but i was already hyper and wanting to drink. Just weird. ok so yeah sunday was not a bad day I can handle hang overs pretty good too :P I had a quezy stomach for about 3hrs after waking up after that i was like normal.

Monday and Tuesday were cleaning days. so my house looks a'ight. Did have some help from my sister though can't do it all by myself. Did LOTS of washing. Still have 2 loads to put away.

Wednesday was just a generic day. came to work, picked up my kids at my moms, watched the novelas, and then went home and just watched more TV. very boring huh?

Thurs and Friday (as in yesterday), I cooked!! wohooo!! See if your really know me, you know i don't cook. and it's not b/c I don't like to it's more like i don't know how to. I do kinda know but very little. so i usually try to avoid cooking b/c we would get tired of the same things over and over. :P so since the neverending complaint from my hubby is that i dont' cook i decided to start again. and i'm gonna check into getting some recepi books to experiment. at least that's the idea. So on Thursday i made stir fry w/ noodles and yesterday we had spaghetti w/ ground turkey. I haven't figured out how to do meatballs so i usually just cook the ground meat and add it to the sauce but this time i decided to go healthier i used ground turkey. and you know it tasted pretty good. Oh usually my spaghetti is pretty bland, i mean it only has flavor b/c of the sauce but this time around i bought a spice that is used to create the sauce but i added it to the turkey when it was cooking so i gave the meat flavor too. defenitely had more flavor. so i'm trying and the hubby is happy. That's always good. :D

so how was that for my interesting week?

soo i have put aside my computer time i use the computer maybe about 3hrs a week now. which means no digi scrapping :( I do go on the computer and do check out my fav. digi sites to see the new kits and just get tempted but no actual scapping. I was about to last night but ended up not going on the computer after all. I miss digi scrapping. I know i'm not the frequent scrapper but still it was nice to have some "me" time. you know?

ok well i think i've blogged enough for today. I think i should start working now since i am getting paid to work :P shhhh! dont' tell no one. :D

:: Mother's Day!! ::

Well today is mother's day.. or what is left of it (2.5 hrs), and it wasn't one of those special days. Let's see I did wake up at 9.30am and then cleaned the tub, the toilet, and the sink in the bathroom, put 4 loads of clothes to wash and also to dry. went running for 30 mins, went to my parents house and was suspose to get my parents clothes prepped and my brother and sis' too so we could go to dinner BUT DH decided he wanted me to help him work on the car and clean some parts w/ gasoline. I mean i would normally not mind that BUT today of all the days. I wanted to just kick back relax and enjoy my day. so yeah i smelled like gas for a while had a huge headache. ugh. ok so then we came home and my sis helped me get the girls ready while i took a shower and finished getting myself ready. So after being ready i stop by to get some flowers b/c we were gonna be like 6 mommas at dinner w/ our families so i thought i should get them some flowers, right well the darn grocery store was empty! ugh. and DH to top it off was yelling at me that why was i just getting them now and there isn't gonna be any. soo he's just not on my good side right now. so ok we have dinner and the food just isnt' the best. For some weird reason. maybe b/c i was having a bad day that the food just wasn't something i wanted. not sure sooo my beautiful vase the my SIL gave me broke so my roses are in my trunk squished. sooo happy mothers' day to me. I was an alright day. I guess I just hoped it would be special. I don't know I feel like our holidays dont' have much meaning. and i keep hoping it's gonna be different.
